Lara Tokarz has a diverse work experience, starting as an Assistant Theater Manager and Marketing & PR Manager at Marcus Theatres from 2000 to 2005. Lara then worked at Target as an Executive Team Leader from 2006 to 2008, where they were responsible for the sales, merchandising, and operations of the Softlines department.

After that, Lara joined Ulta Beauty as a Marketing Manager in Ecommerce Operations & Promotions from 2008 to 2012. In this role, they managed online promotions and pricing through SAP integration and ATG Business systems. Lara also handled vendor accounts and executed marketing updates.

Following their time at Ulta Beauty, they worked at MSL (Global) as an Account Supervisor and later as a Senior Account Supervisor in Digital Strategy from 2012 to 2014. Lara was involved in various digital strategy and social media projects across the Midwest region, including strategy formulation, content management, community management, and website application design.

Lara then joined Juice Interactive as a Digital Strategy Director from 2014 to 2015. Lara led digital and social strategy for a diverse client portfolio, collaborating with creative and operations teams to develop and execute integrated digital campaigns.

After that, they founded Wayward Consulting in 2015. As an independent consultant, they helped small to mid-level companies plan their consumer ecosystems and implement digital transformations. Lara focused on brand planning, digital transformation, and executive/leadership coaching.

Finally, Lara joined Critical Mass in 2015, where they held various roles and currently serves as the Group Strategy Director. Throughout their tenure, they have led strategic work and account management for clients such as the US Army, USAA, Sonova Phonak, and Johnson & Johnson. Lara has been actively involved in pitch planning and delivery for new business efforts in both national and global markets. Notably, Lara was awarded CMVP in May 2022 for their contributions to the company.

Lara Tokarz attended the University of Illinois Chicago from 2001 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing.
