Oscar Madrigal

Oscar Madrigal has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Oscar most recently worked at Critical Mass as the Vice President of Operations starting in 2022. Prior to that, they held the same role at Hangar Worldwide from 2020 to 2022.

From 2016 to 2020, Oscar worked as a Client Director at Prodigious Latin America. In this role, they managed a team of approximately 200 people across two locations in Costa Rica and Colombia, supporting Digitas North America. Oscar oversaw the team's operations and maintained and developed the relationship with the client.

Before that, Oscar worked at Hangar from 2012 to 2016 in various roles. Oscar started as a Developer, working on new site prototyping for a banking client. Oscar then became a Technical Project Manager, leading software development projects. Later, they took on the role of Project Management Lead, transitioning the team from Critical Mass to Hangar. Lastly, they served as the Operations Manager, overseeing a team of Project Managers and providing oversight across multiple disciplines.

Oscar's career started in 2006 as a Freelance Web/Flash Developer, creating websites for local companies and designing animations in Flash. Oscar then worked at Web Orb Design as a Web Developer, focusing on creative design and programming.

In 2007, they joined Roundbox Global as a Junior Interactive Engineer, specializing in front-end development using the Flash Platform and Flex. Oscar contributed to the creation of a Massively Multiplayer Online game targeted towards children.

Oscar also worked as a Mobile Application Developer at Mobiquity, Inc. and Arcus in 2012, where they primarily focused on native and web application development for mobile devices and desktop browsers.

Oscar Madrigal has a diverse education history. Oscar studied Computer Software Engineering at Universidad Estatal a Distancia. Oscar also pursued a degree in Computer Science at Universidad de Costa Rica. Additionally, they completed a program in Web Page, Digital/Multimedia, and Information Resources Design at FUNDATEC. Oscar obtained their high school diploma from Saint Paul College.

In terms of certifications, Oscar became a Certified Scrum Master in November 2015 through Scrum Alliance.

In 2019, Oscar attended Udacity and achieved a degree in AI Product Manager with a focus on Artificial Intelligence.
