SVP Client Partner at Critical Mass

Perry Cottrell has extensive experience in the advertising industry, with a focus on digital marketing. Perry started their career at Sun Life Financial as a Group Rep, marketing group benefits to companies in the Greater Los Angeles area. In 2006, they joined Crispin Porter + Bogusky as a Digital Content Supervisor. After that, they worked at Deutsch LA as a Digital Account Supervisor, where they developed strategic online marketing initiatives for various accounts.

In 2011, they moved to Wieden + Kennedy as a Management Supervisor, overseeing the Nike business and leading key projects such as the 2012 Olympics digital work for Nike. Perry then joined Saatchi & Saatchi as a Digital Account Director, focusing on the social presence of Toyota USA and managing a team of eight.

In 2014, Perry joined Deutsch LA again, this time as a VP, Account Director. Perry led the digital platforms and content teams for Volkswagen of America, overseeing websites, advertising, content creation, and owner's experiences. During their time there, they developed a comprehensive understanding of various industries, including Entertainment, CPG, Alcohol/Beer, Home Appliances, Insurance, Healthcare, Retail, and Digital Content Services.

Most recently, Perry worked at Doner as an SVP, Director of Client Service. In this role, they were responsible for business leadership across all accounts, fostering strong relationships with senior clients, tracking revenue, identifying growth opportunities, and mitigating risks for the agency and clients. Perry also constantly pursued new business leads through formal pitches and project-based opportunities.

In 2022, Perry joined Critical Mass as an SVP, Client Partner, where they currently hold a leadership position.
