Ryan Holmes has worked in a variety of roles since 2002. Ryan began their career as an Administrative Assistant for the City of New Haven in 2002. In 2003, they worked as a Deputy Campaign Manager for DeStefano for Mayor. In 2005, they worked as a Loan Purchaser for Countrywide Realty & Mortgage. In 2006, they worked as an Administrative Assistant for The Brokaw Company. In 2008, they worked as an Assistant Office Manager for Hunter Public Relations. In 2010, they worked as a Paralegal for Weitz & Luxenberg. Since 2014, they have been working at Critical Mention, where they have held the roles of Account Manager, Manager of Client Services, and Vice President of Client Services.

Ryan Holmes attended Syracuse University from 2001 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drama. In 2003, they also attended Shakespeare's Globe in London to study Acting, Voice, Text, and Movement.
