Maria Mattera

Maria Mattera has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of research and project management. Maria is currently working at the Critical Path Institute (C-Path) as the Scientific Director of the Patient-Reported Outcome (PRO) Consortium since January 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Assistant Director of the PRO Consortium from January 2018 to December 2021.

Before joining C-Path, Maria worked at Evidera as a Senior Research Associate from July 2013 to December 2017. Maria also gained valuable experience at UBC, where they held various positions including Senior Research Associate from July 2011 to June 2013, Research Associate III from February 2009 to July 2011, Research Associate II from October 2006 to February 2009, and Project Manager from December 2004 to October 2006.

Maria's early career began at Boston Medical Center (BMC), where they worked as a Research Project Manager from December 2002 to September 2004 and as a Transplant Study Coordinator from November 2000 to December 2002.

Maria Mattera completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish and Psychology at Dickinson College from 1995 to 1999. Maria then pursued their Master of Public Health degree at Boston University from 2003 to 2005.
