Paola Bielli

Professor at Bocconi University (Milan), SDA Bocconi Business School, and SDA Bocconi Asia Center (Mumbai), Certified Chartered Accountant.

After graduating from Bocconi (with core in Finance & Control), Paola worked at Osram (part of Siemens, the German multinational group).

She was later recruited by Bocconi University and joined the Information Systems Unit of the business school, where she used her project management background to lead several large multi annual EU projects both in Europe and other developing countries (e.g. Kazkhstan, Syria).

Over the past 20 years she has been visiting researcher at several European (e.g. RSM Rotterdam) and international (e.g. IIM Bangalore) universities.

In addition to the academic role, she collaborates with consulting companies in the design and implementation of Information Systems projects.

Current research interests: CSR practices in MNC, internationalization strategies in developing countries, women & ICT, ICT-based innovation in various industries (e.g. healthcare) or companies (e.g. SMEs), high-tech startups.
