Andre Sternberg

Andre Sternberg has extensive work experience in various roles related to digital marketing, fundraising, advertising, and web production.

Starting in 2007, Andre worked as a Ben Bagdikian Editorial Fellow at Mother Jones, where they fact-checked feature stories, conducted research projects, and wrote articles for the blog and magazine.

In 2008, they became a Wired Research Editorial Fellow at Wired Magazine, where they served as a lead fact-checker and worked closely with senior editors on research and fact-checking projects.

From 2010 to 2014, Andre held multiple roles, including Online Communications Contractor at Fair Trade USA, where they managed web presence and outreach, edited and wrote for the Fair Trade Certified Blog, and served as a copywriter for the Annual Report. Andre also worked as a Web Producer at Link TV, overseeing editorial content and site management.

From 2014 to 2016, Andre worked as a Digital Marketing Manager at CREDO Mobile, where they ran paid digital marketing efforts, managed site optimization, and led A/B testing initiatives to optimize user experience and boost sales.

In 2016, Andre joined Sierra Club as a Digital Advertising Manager, building an in-house digital advertising program, doubling list growth, and optimizing acquisition sources. Andre later served as an Associate Director of Digital Advertising, Director of Digital Advertising and Audience Growth, and Senior Director of Digital Fundraising and Advertising, managing teams and achieving significant fundraising milestones.

Currently, Andre is working at Cro Metrics as a Group Director and Vice President of Growth Strategy. In this role, they oversee a team of growth strategists and program managers, drives impact for clients through A/B testing and conversion rate optimization, and helps companies and organizations grow their businesses. Andre has also been involved in setting up new internal departments for digital advertising and lifecycle marketing.

From 2003 to 2007, Andre Sternberg attended Wesleyan University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Studies.
