MJ Castells, MBA pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Florida International University from 2017 to 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication from the same university, completing their studies from 2004 to 2008.

In addition to their academic achievements, MJ Castells also acquired several certifications. In January 2019, they obtained a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification from Florida International University. They further enhanced their skills by obtaining a Program Manager Level 1 certification from Optimizely in February 2021. Additionally, in January 2020, MJ Castells obtained an Experimentation Evangelist Level 1 certification, also from Optimizely.
