Rachel Dixon has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations and roles. Rachel most recently served as the Director of Community Fundraising Events & Campaigns at Crohn's and Colitis Canada. Prior to that, they held positions at Feed Ontario, where they served as the Director of Development and Communications and the Manager of Corporate and Foundation Partnerships. Rachel also worked at Girl Guides of Canada as a Steward for Partner and Donor Relations. Additionally, they gained experience as a Fundraiser at Public Outreach Fundraising and held multiple roles at The Smith Family, including Events and Community Fundraising Coordinator and Relationships Coordinator for Corporate Partnerships. Rachel began their career at SAP, where they worked in various communication roles.
Rachel Dixon obtained a Bachelor's Degree from Macquarie University, where they pursued a double major in Media and Cultural Studies. Rachel attended the university from 2010 to 2012. In 2014, they enrolled in an online short course for Screenwriting for Film at the Australian Film Television and Radio School.
In terms of additional certifications, Rachel obtained a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt (ICYB) from the Leading Edge Group in February 2022. Prior to that, in June 2021, they completed IMS 250 (Incident Management Systems) from the Office of the Fire Marshal, Ontario.
