Jennifer Swantek

Director IBD Therapeutics Incubator at Crohn's & Colitis Foundation

Jennifer Swantek has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry. Jennifer is currently the Director of the IBD Therapeutics Incubator at the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation. Prior to that, they served as the VP of Translational Medicine at Lucy Therapeutics and as a Senior Director at Rheos Medicines. Jennifer also had significant roles at AbbVie, Boehringer Ingelheim, and Pfizer, where they held positions such as Associate Director, Senior Principal Scientist, and Associate Research Fellow, respectively. In 2018, Jennifer took a sabbatical before joining the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation.

Jennifer Swantek has a Bachelor of Science - BS degree in Biology, General from Temple University. Jennifer also completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Additionally, Jennifer earned a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD degree in Genetics from Thomas Jefferson University.
