Sirimon O'Charoen

Senior Director Data Science at Crohn's & Colitis Foundation

Sirimon O'Charoen has a diverse work experience. Sirimon has held various roles in the field of data science and research.

Sirimon started their career as a Scientific Intern at Metamatics in 2007. After that, they worked at Torrey Path as a Senior Research Scientist from 2007 to 2010.

In 2011, Sirimon joined Thomson Reuters as a Research Scientist and later became a Manager of Translational Medicine. Sirimon continued in this role until 2016 when they moved to Clarivate Analytics. At Clarivate Analytics, they were the Manager of Translational Medicine and also led Translation Data Management services.

In 2017, Sirimon joined the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation. Sirimon started as an Associate Director of Data Science but quickly progressed to the role of Director of Data Science. In this role, they led the IBD Plexus program, which focused on data science and research in inflammatory bowel diseases. Currently, Sirimon holds the position of Senior Director of Data Science at the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation.

Sirimon O'Charoen completed a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Chulalongkorn University from 1997 to 2001. Following this, they pursued further education and obtained a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan between 2001 and 2007.
