Val Elefante has a diverse work experience, beginning with a Tent Counselor and Trip Leader role at Aloha Camp in 2014. In 2015, Val was a Writer/Intern at The Nassau Herald. From 2016 to 2019, Val held several roles at Harvard University, including Edmond J. Safra Center for Ethics Research Fellow, Derek Bok Center of Teaching and Learning Undergraduate Fellow, and Executive Editor of Fifteen Minutes Magazine. In 2019, Val was a Co-Founder/Head of Growth & Community at Reliabl, a New York City Manager at Croissant, and a Program Director at Solutionist. In 2021, Val was an Event Coordinator for the Well-Tech World Summit. Currently, Val is a Researcher at reState and a Research Assistant at The Metagovernance Project.
Val Elefante attended George W. Hewlett High School from 2011 to 2015 where they obtained a High School Diploma. From 2015 to 2019, they attended Harvard University and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Social Studies and Economics. They have also obtained certifications from the American Red Cross for CPR, Lifeguard, and Wilderness First Aid from NOLS Wilderness Medicine.
