Rajesh Jalan

Rajesh Jalan is the Chief Technology Officer at CropIn Technology. Rajesh has over 19 years of experience in the technology industry, with a focus on blockchain and virtualization.

Rajesh started their career at Tejas Networks in August 2000 as an Engineering Team Lead. Rajesh then moved to Microsoft in March 2002, where they spent 8 years as Principal Engineering Manager for Virtual Server and Virtual PC. In this role, Rajesh led a team of 25 engineers and was responsible for launching Azure Blockchain Service in Public Preview, along with multiple middleware capabilities.

From December 2009 to March 2021, Rajesh was Head Of Engineering for Azure Blockchain at Microsoft. In this role, they were responsible for leading the blockchain engineering team across Redmond, Bangalore and Hyderabad. Rajesh built the team in India from scratch to a center of excellence, and defined the direction and evolution of this nascent technology for Microsoft.

Rajesh has been with CropIn Technology since March 2021 and is currently serving as Chief Technology Officer. In this role, they are responsible for the company's overall technical strategy and execution.

Rajesh Jalan studied B Tech Computer Science at the Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani. Rajesh then went on to study MSc Mathematics at the same school.

They work with Mohit Pande - Chief Business Officer, Vijay Nelson - Chief Product Officer, and Kunal Prasad - Co-Founder & COO. and Praveen Pankajakshan - VP Data Science & AI reports to Rajesh Jalan. Rajesh Jalan reports to Krishna Kumar, Founder & CEO.
