Julia Louise Krahe

SVP, Senior Strategist at Crosby Marketing

Julia is a passionate, principled leader who has spent the past 20 years guiding integrated marketing teams to develop and execute national communications campaigns that inspire action and help make the world a better place. She partners with the federal government and nonprofit clients on a range of topics including public health, transportation, and environmental safety. Her forte is shaping innovative, multifaceted engagements that effectively communicate complex, compelling messages.

At Crosby, Julia is a senior strategist supporting the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (Task Force) on behalf of the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality. As deputy project director, she oversees strategic messaging and issues management, while serving as the lead media and message trainer. Members of the Task Force rely on her savvy counsel to guide their engagement efforts with the media and other stakeholders.

Prior to joining Crosby, Julia was a Senior Vice President at Edelman, leading teams to create awareness campaigns, outreach programs, and digital destinations for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, and Department of Energy.

Julia’s political instincts and advocacy skills were honed during their stints as Communications Director for a member of the U.S. House, the U.S. House Committee on Education and Labor, and a member of leadership in the U.S. Senate. She received her Bachelor of Science in Communications with a major in political communication and minors in political science and math from Ohio University’s Honors Tutorial College.
