Dan Hines

Dan Hines has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Dan started their career as a Combat Security Specialist in the United States Air Force from 1985 to 1988. After leaving the military, they joined Hub, Inc. as a Salesman, specializing in pipe, valves, and fittings for various industries. In 1992, they became the Branch Manager at Hub, Inc., overseeing all aspects of the industrial pipe, valve, and fitting wholesale distributor.

In 1993, Dan joined Cross Company as a Field Sales Representative, responsible for developing new business and maintaining existing accounts. Dan later transitioned to the role of Sales Manager for the Instrumentation Division, where they led sales teams, coached and managed selling & support teams, and achieved sales goals. In 2005, they took on the position of Manager of Commerce & Business Development at Cross Company, focusing on Ecommerce applications and growing sales and profits in the B2B environment.

Throughout their career, Dan also worked as a Representative for several companies, including Groth Corporation, Draeger Safety, GPI Flow Meters, Continental Disc Corporation, Brooks Instrument, Rosemount Analytical, and Varec. In these roles, they represented various products related to pressure relief valves, flow meters, analyzers & sensors, and more.

Currently, Dan is the Senior Director of Sales at Cross Company, leading their Field Sales Team in customer-facing efforts. Dan is responsible for offering a wide range of services, integration, and product solutions to solve processing applications across different industries.

Dan Hines has a diverse education history. Dan started their education in 1979 at Riverview Academy, graduating from high school in 1981. From 1981 to 1984, they attended Darton College, where they pursued an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Business/Commerce. Following that, from 1986 to 1988, they attended the Community College of the Air Force, where they obtained an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Industrial Security. Lastly, from 1988 to 1993, they attended Albany State University and earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Production Management and Human Resources.
