Charles Weilamann

Charles Weilamann is a seasoned financial and legal professional with extensive experience in independent financial advisory services, credit risk assessment, and structured finance. Currently serving as a Partner at Gotham Advisors since September 2022, Weilamann offers advisory services to specialty finance companies and mid-market clients. Prior experience includes roles as Chief Credit Officer and Managing Director at DBRS Morningstar, where Weilamann led global credit standards and expanded the firm’s debt rating capabilities in U.S. asset-backed securities markets. Additional roles at WoodLake Advisors, Credit Suisse, Thacher Proffitt & Wood LLP, and Deloitte highlight expertise in financial structuring, capital markets transactions, and tax consulting. Weilamann holds a Juris Doctor degree from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University and served as a Legal Specialist in the U.S. Army Reserve and Army National Guard.
