Chris DeGroat

Chris DeGroat has worked in the technology industry since 2001. Their first role was as a Web Developer for FrameGroup, Inc. in 2001. In 2003, they joined Fanball.com as a Senior Software Engineer, where they developed fantasy sports websites and sports content websites in a LAMP environment. In 2008, they moved to Announce Media, LLC as the Sr. Manager of Product Development. In 2010, they were a Senior Software Engineer at AdKeeper Inc. In 2012, they founded STL Devshop, where they specialize in helping startups build out their technology. In 2017, they became the CTO of Gateway Blend, LLC. Finally, in 2016, they founded Crossbar, where they serve as the CEO.

Chris DeGroat obtained a Bachelor's of Science in Management Information Systems from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis from 2000 to 2002. Prior to that, they attended Southern Illinois University Edwardsville from 1999 to 2000, studying Computer Science. In 2009, they obtained a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from the Scrum Alliance, Inc.
