Japheth Omari

Japheth Omari is a Senior Technical Manager at CrossBoundary Energy Access (CBEA). He is based in CrossBoundary’s Nairobi Office. Before joining CBEA, Japheth worked as the Senior Technical Advisor for mini-grids at AECF supporting a program deploying $60m to renewable energy businesses in Sub-Saharan Africa. He has consulted for GIZ and EU Africa Renewable Energy Cooperation Programme (RECP) mini-grid programs in Kenya, Zambia, and Uganda. Japheth has also supported KPLC last mile and mini-grids electrification programs as well as private sector mini-grids in Kenya. Japheth holds a Master of Engineering in Energy and Environmental Management from the University of Flensburg and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Nairobi.
