Kirtika Challa

Head of Power & Infrastructure & Member of Group Council at Crossboundary

Kirtika Challa is the current Head of Power & Infrastructure and a Member of Group Council at Crossboundary. Prior to this, they worked as a Summer Associate at MIGA in 2017, where they underwrote Political Risk Insurance for a $300 million mining deal in West Africa and participated in the contract negotiation process. Kirtika also conducted initial due diligence for another mine in West Africa (including the adjoining railway and port infrastructure) which resulted in a green light for proceeding with a detailed due diligence to evaluate the risk and investment opportunity.

From 2012 to 2016, Kirtika Challa worked at Morgan Stanley as Manager of Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis. During their time there, they were promoted to Associate after 6 months in the group, and Manager one year later. Kirtika led the Associate team to enhance the firm’s 2016 CCAR revenue forecasting model, review and challenge process and documentation, which, approved by the Firm CFO, resolved a Federal Reserve regulatory Matter Requiring Attention. Additionally, they managed the firm’s engagement with two management consulting firms to evaluate and implement model enhancements. Lastly, they analyzed the firm’s budget and prepared presentations to review and evaluate it against actual performance for the Firm Compensation Committee, Firm CFO & Board of Directors.

Kirtika Challa has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The Wharton School, a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics and Engineering Studies from Lafayette College, and an International Baccalaureate (IB) from Dhirubhai Ambani International School. Kirtika is also certified by the CFA Institute as a Candidate - Level III and by FINRA as a Series 63 and Series 7.

Kirtika Challa reports to Matt Tilleard, Co-Founder & Managing Partner. Kirtika Challa works with Sebastian Deschler - General Counsel, Erika Lovin - Chief of Staff, and Kristine Muriuki - Global Head of Administration.
