Matt Tilleard

Co-Founder & Managing Partner at Crossboundary

Matt holds a Master of Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School and an MBA from Stanford University where he studied as a Fulbright Scholar. He is originally from Australia and holds Bachelors of Laws and a Bachelors of Science from the University of Melbourne. Prior to co-founding The CrossBoundary Group, Matt led the design of financing facilities in Afghanistan and Sierra Leone, helped set up an innovation unit for the UN Secretary-General, was a policy advisor to an Australian indigenous leader and a strategy consultant at The Boston Consulting Group. Matt is an Aspen Ideas Scholar, a UBS Global Visionary and was honoured by the World Economic Forum as a Young Global Leader. Matt has written for the Financial Times, Stanford Social Innovation Review, Forbes, Inc Magazine, NextBillion, Centre for Strategic and International Studies, GreenTechMedia and Quartz. Matt is based in CrossBoundary’s Nairobi office.
