Mohamedali Habib

Mohamedali Habib is an analyst at Crossboundary. Prior to joining Crossboundary, Mohamedali worked as an Investment Associate at AgDevCo from January 2018 to April 2021. At AgDevCo, they co-managed the Tanzanian portfolio comprising of 11 investments with c.$41m capital committed in the agri-value chain, renewable energy and social finance sectors.

Mohamedali was also the project lead for a number of pipeline opportunities totalling c.$10m+, including a $5m growth deal that achieved financial close in Q2 2020. In addition, they originated over 20 pipeline opportunities worth $100m+ across East Africa, 5 of which passed AgDevCo's initial screening and 2 of which reached due diligence stage.

Before working at AgDevCo, Mohamedali was an Audit Associate at PwC from August 2016 to February 2017.

Mohamedali Habib has passed CFA Level 3 with a score in the 90th percentile. Mohamedali has also achieved ACCA certification from OpenTuition. Mohamedali has a Bachelor of Science with First Class Honours in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University.
