Richard Stanford

Richard Stanford is the current Principal and Technical Director at Crossboundary. Richard has over 9 years of experience in the renewable energy sector. Prior to joining Crossboundary, Richard was the Regional Operations Director at Cambridge Clean Energy Ltd. (CCE) where they were responsible for the overall management of solution design, product development, project implementation and operations and maintenance in all countries of the region.

In addition to their work at CCE, Richard also served as the Uganda Country Manager where they were responsible for financial management, office management, and business development.

Before joining CCE, Richard worked as a Renewable Energy Engineer at Arup Pty (Ltd) for 3 years. In this role, they were responsible for providing technical support to clients on a variety of renewable energy projects.

Richard has a passion for clean energy and has dedicated their career to finding sustainable solutions that can have a positive impact on the environment.

Richard Stanford completed a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Mechanical Engineering at Stellenbosch University. Richard then went on to complete a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) at Diocesan College (Bishops).

Their manager is Pieter Joubert, Chief Investment Officer. They are on a team with Aishat Raji - Associate, Junius Williams - Associate, and Stephen Murray - Principal & Co-Lead, Financial Services & Institutions.
