Zach Sowa

Zac Sowa, DMSc, PA-C, currently serves as the Associate Medical Director at Crossing Healthcare since July 2023. Previously, Zac held the position of Lead Orthopaedic Provider and Urgent Care & Orthopaedic PA at Memorial Physician Services from August 2020 to July 2023, and worked as an Urgent Care & Orthopaedic PA at Decatur Memorial Hospital from September 2017 to December 2020, focusing on urgent care, sports medicine, and general orthopaedics. Zac's career in orthopaedic care began at Orthopaedic & Rehabilitation Specialists of Central Illinois, where an Orthopaedic PA role was occupied from September 2007 to March 2018. Zac's educational background includes a Doctorate of Medical Science from Southern Illinois University, a Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant from the same institution, a Master's degree in Sports Medicine from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and a Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training from Eastern Illinois University.
