Ychel Brooks

Ychel Brooks is a dedicated mental health professional with extensive experience in various therapeutic roles. Currently serving as a primary inpatient/detox therapist at Recovery Centers of America and a therapist at the MAYA Organization since March 2023, Ychel also holds the position of Program District Supervisor at Crossroads Treatment Center since August 2022, after previously working as a Program Supervisor there. With a background as a supervisor at Curative and an outpatient therapist at Gateway Rehab, Ychel has also been self-employed as a behavioral health specialist. Earlier career roles include serving as a Drug and Alcohol Specialist at Three Rivers Youth and an Addiction Counselor at Discovery House. Ychel's educational background includes being a doctoral candidate in Public Health at Walden University, a Master's degree in Administration of Criminal Justice with a concentration in counseling from Point Park University, and an Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies from Sawyer School of Business.
