Chuck Gutzwiller

Chuck Gutzwiller has extensive experience in facility management and risk management in the YMCA industry. Chuck currently serves as the Vice President of Facilities at Crossroads YMCA, where they oversee the development and implementation of risk management programs and ensures a safe environment for operations. Prior to this role, they were the Executive Director of Facilities and Risk Management at Crossroads YMCA, where they managed the Workers Compensation program and the centralized Facilities Department.

Before joining Crossroads YMCA, Chuck worked at Valparaiso Family YMCA, where they held various leadership positions. As the Senior Director of Programs and Facilities, they were responsible for overseeing all aquatic, camp, recreation, maintenance, housekeeping, IT, and wellness operations. Chuck also planned and organized the annual shutdown process and implemented a quarterly plan and performance indicator process. Prior to this role, they served as the Senior Director of Programs and Senior Director of Aquatics and Wellness, where they managed various operations and implemented new programs.

Chuck's earlier experience includes working at DICK'S Sporting Goods as a Lodge Sales Leader, where they oversaw lodge staff and departments and focused on increasing retail sales. Chuck also worked at Climb Time of Blue Ash as a General Manager, where they managed day-to-day operations and ensured a safe and efficient climbing gym.

Chuck Gutzwiller obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Outdoor Recreation and Resource Management from Indiana University Bloomington. Chuck pursued this course from 2002 to 2007, completing their education in that period.
