Brett Kugler

Brett Kugler has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several years. Brett most recently worked at Vertafore as a Principal Cloud Architect since June 2021. Prior to that, from March 2020 until their departure, Brett held the position of Principal Architect/Director of Consulting at Crossvale. Before that role, they worked as a Senior Architect at Crossvale from August 2018 to February 2020. Additionally, Brett briefly served as a Senior Red Hat Consultant at Crossvale from June 2018 to August 2018.

Before joining Crossvale, Brett worked at General Datatech as the Managing Principal DevOps, Labs from July 2013 to June 2018. In this role, they focused on exploring SDN solutions and bridging the gap between software development and network engineering.

Brett's earlier experience includes working as a Senior Software Design Engineer at VeriFone for 15 years, starting in July 1997 and ending in July 2013. During their time there, they developed software in various environments and worked on projects for notable clients, such as Visa, Bank of America, FDMS, and Wisconsin Fish and Wildlife.

Prior to joining VeriFone, Brett worked at Hughes Aircraft Company as a Programmer/Analyst from January 1996 to July 1997. At Hughes Aircraft, they collaborated with the U.S. Navy Reserve on developing flight instructor terminals and interfaces for full motion flight simulators.

Brett Kugler earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science from Texas Tech University. This degree was obtained between 1990 and 1995. Additionally, they again pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science from Texas Tech University, although the specific dates for this second degree are not provided.
