DeAnegelio Reid

DeAnegelio Reid is a Senior Software Engineer who started working at Crossvale in September 2021. At Crossvale, they developed reusable functional components for a financial app using React, Antd, Hooks, and TypeScript. DeAnegelio also integrated Plaid to retrieve users' financial data and converted Figma designs into fully functioning pages.

Prior to Crossvale, DeAnegelio worked at Watching That as a Software Engineer from September 2019 to September 2021. During their time there, they contributed to building a movie trailer rating web app using React.js and React Hooks. DeAnegelio also collaborated with data scientists to resolve database design problems and provide excellent customer service.

Before Watching That, DeAnegelio was a Software Engineer at Elkstone from August 2018 to September 2019. DeAnegelio played a key role in defining, developing, and evolving software in an agile development environment. DeAnegelio also contributed to the transition from PHP to AngularJS, improving the speed and quality of the product. Additionally, they participated in pre-project analysis and technical assessments to ensure a user-friendly interface.

From August 2016 to July 2018, DeAnegelio worked at Haymarket Media Group as a Software Engineer. During this time, they developed a large-scale single-page app using AngularJS and collaborated with UX designers using InVision. DeAnegelio also implemented user login and authorization features.

DeAnegelio Reid completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte between 2012 and 2016.
