Ellys Newth has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries and roles. They began their career at BT Global Services, where they held positions such as Finance Graduate Trainee, Finance Analyst, Manager, and Senior Finance Manager. At BT Global Services, Ellys was responsible for overseeing internal reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and participating in contract reviews.
Ellys then moved on to The Kraft Heinz Company, where they worked as Assistant Controller, Accounting Services, Senior Manager, Accounting Services, Senior Manager Finance Integration/Finance Transformation, and International Consolidations Manager. In these roles, Ellys managed accounting shared-services, oversaw general accounting activities, led finance integration projects, and supervised consolidation processes.
Following their time at The Kraft Heinz Company, Ellys joined Mars as the Director of the North America Financial Services Center. They led the Mars Financial Services organization and were responsible for providing financial services to Mars North American business units.
Ellys then worked at The AddVantage Group as a Principal, leading change management and hypercare support during the implementation of PeopleSoft 9.2 for JLL's Client Finance organization.
After that, Ellys joined JLL as the Director of Finance & Systems Transformation, where they led various finance operations and systems transformation initiatives. They later became the Head of Finance Operations for JLL Corporate Solutions & JLL Technologies, where they led the global finance operations team and implemented a new finance target operating model.
Most recently, Ellys worked at VikingCloud as the Head of Finance Operations, overseeing billing, accounts payable/receivable, and cash management activities.
Currently, Ellys is the Head of Business Intelligence at CrossVue.
Ellys Newth obtained a BA degree in Business Studies & Finance from the University of Plymouth between 1991 and 1995. They also obtained certifications in CGMA and ACMA from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants in 2012 and 2001 respectively.
