Mark van der Sluys

Mark van der Sluys is an experienced project manager currently working at CROW since December 2018, overseeing the RAW working groups, managing chapters of the Standard RAW Provisions, and providing contract mediation and helpdesk support. Prior experience includes a role as a contract and procurement specialist at Arcadis from October 2007 to December 2018, where project management and UAV implementation were key responsibilities. Mark has also led project preparation and execution for diverse soil remediation projects at Holland Milieutechniek and conducted graduation research on phosphorus retention in constructed wetlands at Bioforsk. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences from Wageningen University & Research and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Technology from Inholland University of Applied Sciences, alongside various trainings in procurement and contract management.
