Michael Knox

Michael Knox has been working in the financial services industry since 1988. Michael began their career as an Analyst at Eagle Asset Management, followed by a role as Senior VP/Portfolio Manager at Morgan Stanley Investment Management. Michael then moved to Hamilton Investment Management LLC as Managing Partner/Portfolio Manager, and in 2006 they founded Xtract Research LLC, a fixed income research firm with offices in NY, London and Singapore. In 2014, they became Managing Partner of SIB Fixed Cost Reduction LLC, and in 2016 they assumed the role of CEO and Managing Partner of SIB Lighting, a commercial LED lighting consulting company. In 2017, they became a Partner and CEO of LawCloud, a legal technology company, and in 2020 they became a Founding Investor and Chief Executive Officer of Lustro, an aggregator in the AltFin space.

Michael Knox obtained their BA in Economics/Management from Ohio Wesleyan University between 1984 and 1988. Michael then attended The University of Chicago Booth School of Business between 1991 and 1994, earning an MBA in Finance. Prior to that, they attended West Morris High School between 1980 and 1984. Michael also holds a Chartered Financial Analyst certification.
