Jeff Capone has a diverse and extensive work experience history. Jeff is currently the VP of Data Protection at CrowdStrike since January 2022. Prior to this, they were the CEO and Founder of SecureCircle, a company specializing in Zero-Trust Data Loss Prevention, from September 2016 to December 2021, when it was acquired by CrowdStrike.

Before their role at SecureCircle, Jeff worked at NETGEAR, where they held the positions of CTO from April 2013 to March 2015 and VP of Network Storage from January 2010 to April 2013. Jeff also founded and served as CEO of Leaf Networks, LLC from July 2004 to January 2010, and was the CTO and Founder of Aligo, Inc. from November 1999 to July 2004, which was later acquired by Corrigo.

Jeff's professional journey began at Arizona State University, where they were a Professor in the electrical engineering department from July 1997 to July 2000. Jeff has made significant contributions to their field, publishing over 30 articles in IEEE and ACM journals and receiving the National Science Foundation's prestigious CAREER Award.

Jeff Capone holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University. Prior to this, they completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Vermont, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
