Gavin Hughes

Gavin Hughes is an experienced maritime and energy solutions executive currently serving as Vice President for Maritime & Energy Solutions for Governments and Maritime Solutions at Crowley since December 2021. With a strong background in technology and analysis, Gavin previously held the position of Director of Technology and Senior Analyst at American Roll-on Roll-off Carrier Group from October 2019 to August 2021. Previously, as Managing Director at Dauin Point from April 2012 to October 2019, and in various capacities at Matson, Inc., including Navigation Officer and Radio Electronics Officer from May 2006 to September 2019, Gavin has built extensive expertise in maritime operations. Additional military experience includes serving as a Naval Officer in the US Navy Reserves from June 1994 to October 2013. Gavin's earlier career includes roles at Sealand Marine, AHL, TrackEquity as Founder, and APL. Gavin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Engineering & Marine Transportation from the United States Merchant Marine Academy.
