Michael Flaherty

Michael Flaherty has a diverse work experience in the IT field. Michael started their career at Dow Chemical as a Programmer/Analyst from 1990 to 1993. Michael then worked at Sornson & Associates, Inc as a Developer for a year before joining QuadPOINT Technologies as a Systems Analyst/Consultant from 1994 to 1996. Michael then became the IT Director at HydroChem Industrial Services, Inc where they played a key role in the company's MIS strategy and oversaw various aspects of technology infrastructure and support until 2005. Michael then joined CLP Resources, Inc., a TrueBlue Company, as the VP of IT, Logistics from 2005 to 2010. Following that, they became the Senior Director of IT Planning and Governance at TrueBlue Inc. from 2010 to 2013. Currently, they are the Director of IT at Crowley since 2014, responsible for directing IT for the Fuels Business Unit, including technology roadmap, system architecture, project delivery, and application support.

Michael Flaherty obtained their EMBA in Business Administration from the University of Houston, C.T. Bauer College of Business in 2003. Prior to that, they earned a BBA in Accounting with a concentration in Management Information Systems from The University of Texas at San Antonio between 1985 and 1987. Michael also holds a certification as a Change Management Practitioner from Prosci, obtained in 2019.
