Ted Nichols

Ted Nichols has extensive maritime experience, including the current role as Second Mate aboard the M/T American Freedom at Crowley since December 2016, previously serving as Third Mate on both the M/T American Freedom and M/T Bay State. Earlier maritime training included a position as Deck Cadet aboard the M/T Golden State and participation in the Maine Maritime Academy's Annual Summer Training Cruise, gaining valuable operational skills in cargo operations and vessel navigation. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation Operations and a Bachelor of Science in International Business and Logistics from Maine Maritime Academy, complemented by a High School Diploma from Kennebunk High School. Additional experience includes customer service roles at Quest Fitness and Portland Radio Group, as well as technical support at the Maine Maritime Academy.
