Patti Van Til has extensive experience in law enforcement and victim advocacy, currently serving as a Victim/Witness Advocate and Case Manager at the Lake County Prosecutor's Office since February 2019. Patti has held various leadership roles, including Executive Director of the Indiana Fraternal Order of Police Labor Council since June 2017 and Grant Program Facilitator at Crown Counseling, focusing on the Cybercool and Healthy Relationships programs. Previous positions include work in the Special Victim's Unit at the Lake County Sheriff's Department, Treasurer of the Indiana Fraternal Order of Police State Lodge, and Administrative Deputy Chief at the Lake County Sheriff's Department. Patti's career as a police officer culminated in retirement as a Lieutenant after over two decades of dedicated service. Patti holds a degree in Public Safety Management from Calumet College of St. Joseph, earned between 2009 and 2016.
