Katerina Brown FCA, MCSI is an accomplished financial and operational leader with extensive experience in the public and private sectors. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Historic Environment Scotland since September 2024, Katerina previously held key roles such as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Finance Officer at the National Trust for Scotland, where responsibilities included overseeing corporate operations and financial viability. Katerina's expertise was further demonstrated as Chief Financial Officer at Ventient Energy, where strategic financial planning supported significant growth, and as a Director at InterGen, leading business performance and financial analysis transformations. Katerina's career also includes leadership positions at Northern Trust Corporation, Willis, and Grant Property, contributing to finance functions across various industries and achieving operational improvements and strategic expansions.
