Senior Development Manager, Floating Wind at Crown Estate

Tim Stiven is a Senior Development Manager for Floating Wind at the Crown Estate. Prior to this, they were a Business Leader for the Energy Systems Catapult, where they led the Catapult's primary 'business platform' from its inception. Stiven has also worked as a Managing Director for Ocean Power Technologies and as a Panasonic Trust Fellow for the Institute of Energy Systems. In their previous role as Business Manager for QinetiQ's Energy & Environment Services Division, they were responsible for the company's environmental strategy and for developing new business opportunities in the renewable energy sector.

Tim Stiven has a MSc in Sustainable Energy Systems from The University of Edinburgh, a MSc in Naval Architecture from UCL, and a BSs (Hons) in Engineering from Durham University.

They work with Ed Salter - Senior Marine Planning Manager, Rob Chesworth - Head of Strategy, and Huub den Rooijen - Managing Director, Marine. Tim Stiven reports to Dan Labbad, Chief Executive, Executive Board Member and Second Commissioner.
