Alicia Bongue-Bartelsman

Alicia Bongue-Bartelsman is a highly experienced individual in the field of sustainable agriculture and fibers. Alicia currently serves as the President and Board of Director of Great Lakes Natural Fibers Inc., focusing on adding value to products and benefiting small-scale farmers and ranchers. Alicia is also the owner of Muddy Fork Farm LLC, where Alicia prioritizes ecological practices in crop production. With a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of California, Davis, and a B.A. B.S in Botany from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Alicia has a strong educational background to support their various roles in farm ownership, grant writing, and business management.
