Michael Lacey is a seasoned professional in the gaming industry with extensive experience in risk management, compliance, and responsible gambling practices. Currently serving as the Group Risk Manager at Crown Resorts since July 2022, Michael previously held positions such as Compliance Manager at Buddybet Australia and General Manager of Research and Communications at the Australasian Gaming Council. Michael’s expertise includes managing AML/CTF monitoring and responsible gambling initiatives at Sportsbet, where a significant focus was on process improvement and customer security. Additionally, Michael managed the Telephone Betting Centre operations for Bet365 and oversaw a large team at AEGIS, driving operational success. Michael holds a Bachelor of Laws from Deakin University and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from The College of Law Australia.
