Julian Ortega

Julian Ortega is a seasoned Software Architect with extensive experience in e-commerce and software engineering. Currently employed at Crownpeak since February 2023, Julian previously held similar roles at Attraqt from April 2016 to February 2023, and at Fredhopper from November 2011 to April 2016, where efforts focused on enhancing product recommendation systems. Julian's career includes positions such as Software Engineer and R&D Intern, where innovative solutions for collaborative filtering techniques were developed. Additional experience ranges from serving as a Research Assistant at ARTICA to teaching English at Universidad EAFIT. Julian holds a Master's degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Technical Artificial Intelligence from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a Systems Engineer degree from Universidad EAFIT.
