Mohamed E. is an accomplished environmental professional with extensive experience in sustainability, biodiversity, and marine program management. Currently serving as the Manager of Environment & Sustainability at Cruise Saudi since May 2022, Mohamed develops and implements sustainability strategies aligned with national and international standards. Previously, at Dubai Municipality from January 2015 to May 2022, Mohamed held roles as a Senior Wildlife Specialist and Environmental Studies & Research Specialist, focusing on biodiversity and environmental impact assessments. Mohamed’s expertise also includes serving as a Biodiversity Expert for the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment from February 2013 to January 2015 and as a Marine Program Officer at IUCN from October 2007 to August 2012. An academic background includes a Ph.D. in Zoology specializing in Coral Reef Ecology from the University of Khartoum, an MSc. in Geography of Third World Development from Royal Holloway, University of London, and a BSc. in Biological Oceanography from the Faculty of Marine Sciences and Fisheries.
