Tom Gunton

Tom Gunton is an experienced professional in the field of environment and sustainability, currently serving as the Environment & Sustainability Manager at East Midlands Trains since June 2018. Previously, Tom held the position of Senior Energy Projects Officer at Nottingham City Council, where responsibilities included developing district heating networks and managing energy projects to enhance energy efficiency in Nottingham. Prior to that role, Tom worked as an Environmental Protection Officer at South Derbyshire District Council, focusing on corporate environmental management and regulatory enforcement. Early in the career, Tom gained experience as an Environmental Engineer at Tata Steel UK Ltd and as an Environment Department Placement Student at Corus Strip Products UK.
