Ahmed Abdalla

Ahmed Abdalla is an experienced technology leader with a strong background in software development and operations management. Currently serving as the Head of Developer Platform at Cruise since January 2023, Ahmed has established a dedicated organization focused on enhancing developer quality of life through various application frameworks and tools. Previously, as the Head of Pharmacy Operations Tech at Amazon, Ahmed managed a large team that successfully launched Amazon Pharmacy. Ahmed's experience at Google as an Engineering Manager involved building teams for consumer-facing applications, while earlier roles at Amazon included a pivotal position overseeing data labeling tech strategy for Alexa. Beginning a career at The MathWorks and holding significant roles at Skillz Inc. and the Copyright Clearance Center, Ahmed's educational background includes a master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University.
