Ashwini Balan

Ashwini Balan is a seasoned technical recruiter with extensive experience in the technology and automotive sectors. Currently serving as a Technical Recruiter at Wayve since September 2024, Ashwini has been a Senior Technical Recruiter for Robotics at Cruise since March 2021, focusing on product engineering and embedded systems. Previous roles include Technical Recruiter at Voyage, which was acquired by Cruise, and positions at Sysdig and Infotech Global Services, where Ashwini managed full-cycle recruiting for various technical and non-technical roles. Prior recruitment experience includes a Recruiting Lead at IDFC FIRST Bank and an HR Generalist at NatWest Group. Ashwini holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management from Golden Gate University and an MBA in Human Resources from SIES College of Management Studies, complemented by a B.A. in Advertising and PR from the University of Mumbai.
