Brandon Basso

Brandon Basso has extensive experience in the technology and robotics sectors, with a strong focus on simulation and autonomy. Currently serving as Senior Director of Simulation at Cruise, Brandon has previously held significant roles at Uber Advanced Technologies Group, including Director of Autonomy & Simulation. Additional leadership positions include Director of Planning & Control, and Trucking Software Lead. Prior experience at 3D Robotics encompasses roles such as VP of Engineering and VP of Software Engineering, along with serving as an Advisor. Brandon began their career as a Design Engineer at Honeybee Robotics. Brandon holds a PhD in Machine Learning from the University of California, Berkeley, and has further education from the Australian Centre for Field Robotics.
