Eric Talarico

Eric Talarico is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in software engineering and data science. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer and Senior Data Scientist at Cruise, Eric applies various analytic methods to evaluate autonomous vehicle performance and has developed infrastructure for performance monitoring. Prior roles include Software Engineer II at Microsoft, where Eric implemented data pipelines for Office 365, and Lead Data Scientist at Beyondsoft, focusing on statistics and project development. Eric's career began as an Agricultural Statistician at the USDA, where statistical methods were utilized to enhance lab accuracy and automate reporting. Eric holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Economics, and Philosophy from the University of Washington, a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and a Master’s degree in Statistics from Texas A&M University.
