Gabe Hoffmann is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in the aerospace and autonomous systems sectors. Currently serving as Senior Staff Tech Lead Manager for Planning Core at Cruise since September 2022, Hoffmann previously held roles at Apple from April 2015 to September 2022 as Tech Lead and Engineering Manager in the Special Projects Group, focusing on autonomy and control systems. Hoffmann's career includes significant contributions as an Aerospace Engineer at Zee.Aero (April 2010 - April 2015), where Gabe helped establish the company that evolved into Wisk Aero, and as a Member of the Research Staff at Palo Alto Research Center (PARC), where Gabe co-led DARPA LANdroids initiatives. Hoffmann began their research journey at Stanford University, first as a Research Assistant (2003 - 2008) and later earning a PhD in Aeronautics and Astronautics. Educational credentials also include an MS in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Stanford, an MS in Engineering Mechanics, and a BS in Engineering Mechanics and Astronautics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
