Michael Dicato

Michael DiCato is a seasoned legal professional specializing in intellectual property. Currently serving as Principal IP Counsel at Cruise since 2021, Michael has advanced from prior roles within the same company, including Senior IP Counsel and IP Counsel between 2019 and 2020. Before joining Cruise, Michael practiced as an IP Associate at Perkins Coie LLP from 2016 to 2019 and worked as a Patent Attorney at IBM from 2014 to 2016. Michael began legal training as a Judicial Extern at the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York in 2013. Michael holds a Juris Doctor from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
