Ruain Flanagan

Ruain Flanagan is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in application and information security. Currently serving as a Senior Application Security Engineer at Cruise since July 2022, Ruain previously held the position of Senior Information Security Engineer at American Airlines from July 2015 to June 2020, where responsibilities included leading penetration testing and red team operations. Prior to that, Ruain worked as a Security Consultant at IOActive, Inc. and as a Security Analyst at ExxonMobil. Ruain's career began with self-employment as a Security Consultant from January 2011 to April 2013, following roles as Boston Site Manager and IT Administrator at CompuWorks Systems Inc from January 2008 to November 2010. Ruain holds a degree from Suffolk University, obtained between 2002 and 2005.
