Ryan King

Ryan King is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in engineering and leadership roles across various companies. Currently serving as a Principal Engineer at Cruise and as a Principal at TRK Industries, Ryan has also been a Partner at Prime Set and Specialized Types since 2019 and 2015, respectively. Previous roles include Principal Engineer and Chief Architect at Color, where Ryan played a crucial role in pivoting the company’s focus during the COVID-19 pandemic. Ryan has held significant positions at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, Bolt, and Twitter, contributing to onboarding processes, team management, and technical direction. Educated with an MS in Internet Engineering from the University of San Francisco and a BS in Computer Science from Oklahoma Baptist University, Ryan also authored a newsletter on Terraform-related topics.
